John Keats was an English poet and literary critic. John Keats, English poet, was born in London, England, on 29 or 31 Oct. 1795. He died of tuberculosis in Italy on 23 Feb. 1821. In 1810, Keats was articled to a surgeon, T. Hammond, in Edmonton for five years. The contract was broken in 1814 or 1815. Williamson compiled a four-volume catalog of J. Pierpont Morgan's collection of miniatures that was published 1906-1908. A fifth volume was to have been issued but never appeared due to Morgan's death. At the request of the collector's son, J.P.
